Edge Case
When everyone misses the same question.
Rare, but it happens. If every still-active player gets a question wrong on the same round, no one in that round is eliminated — the question is retired, a fresh one of the same difficulty replaces it, and the round retries. Players who were already eliminated earlier in the show stay out. The system handles it automatically.

Fair Play
Why nobody can cheat their way to $1,000.
A $1k prize attracts smart cheaters. We've designed the format itself to make AI-assisted answers basically impossible — and added a few backstops on top.
Seven seconds is the wall.
Most AI tools take longer than seven seconds to read a question, generate an answer, and let a human paste it back. The clock is the primary defense — everything else closes loopholes.
The clock lives on our server.
Every window opens and closes on ETT's servers — the same approach modern multiplayer games use. Tampering with your local clock, your tab, or the page changes nothing the referee sees.
A second tab is the same seat.
One account is one player. Open the game twice and both tabs share the same pick, the same items, the same fate — there is no extra life in another window.
Items are refereed server-side.
One item per question and the per-show budget are enforced in the game engine, not in your browser. The interface only shows you what the referee already decided.
The last pick is what counts.
You can change your answer freely until the window closes. Each pick lands on the server with its response time — the record is the server’s, never the screen’s.
Chat is gated and moderated.
Rate limits and a profanity filter run on every message, and a report is enough to get a player pulled mid-show. The room stays loud without getting ugly.

How much does it cost?
Nothing. Entry is sharing one pre-filled post on Reddit, X, or TikTok and pasting the link back — that IS the ticket. No purchase anywhere in the flow.
When does it run?
Once a month, live. The countdown at the top of this page tracks the next kickoff, and entrants get an email about ten minutes before the lobby locks.
What happens when I get one wrong?
You're out — that's the format. Two exceptions: if EVERY remaining player misses the same question, nobody is eliminated and the round retries with a fresh question; and if you're holding a Revive when you fall, you get the offer to stay in.
What are the items?
Five: Hint, 50/50, Time Extender, Auto-Answer, and Revive. You can fire one item per question, with a per-show budget on top. The free kit covers your first show; more come from the coin shop — the Coins section above shows how you earn them and where to spend them.
What exactly does the winner get?
A $1,000 gift card. The winner's email goes out automatically the moment the show ends, and the claim details follow within 7 business days.
How long does a show run?
It scales with the field: about 40 rounds for a small show and up to 100 for a 1,000-player night. With the answer window and the between-round beats, that lands around 20 minutes on the small end and roughly 45 at the full hundred — rough estimates, and subject to change as we tune the format.
Can I just watch?
Yes — every show is open to spectators, chat included. Watching is also the best scouting you can do before your first entry.
What if I disconnect mid-show?
Rejoin from this page — your seat, your answers, and your items restore automatically. As long as you're back before your next answer window closes, you've lost nothing.
